What's the difference between First Year DJ, Experienced Pro DJ and DJ Topedo?
First Year DJ
DJ & MC with one or two years of professional DJ experience working with DJ Topedo & Company. We only recommend couples utilizing our first-year DJs for low-key wedding experiences.
What to expect:
Professionalism - Our First Year DJs will show up on time, dress well, and represent you in front of your guests.
1 Year's Worth of Professional DJ Experience - Our First Year DJs have gone through our extensive training process and have all the tools needed to handle all aspects of your wedding
Professional Equipment - Our First Year DJs will be equipped with our basic DJ Setup. The First Year DJ setup includes two speakers, wireless microphones, T-bar dance floor lighting, a small DJ mix board, a laptop, and a table facade to cover all the DJ equipment.
Song-Mixing Abilities (Limited)- Our First Year DJs know how to transition from song to song. However, with only 1-2 years of experience, our clients should only expect fundamental (basic) song transitions. If clients expect dancing, our first-year DJs will do their best to keep the dance floor moving throughout the night.

Experienced Pro DJ
DJ & MC with 3-5 years of professional DJ experience working with DJ Topedo & Company. We recommend utilizing our Experienced Pro DJs for couples looking for a memorable wedding experience.

Professionalism - Our Experienced Pro DJs will show up on time, dress well, and represent you in front of your guests.
3-5 Years of Professional DJ Experience - Our Experienced Pro DJs have a wide range of dance music in their arsenal- from the classics to the newest releases- they will help get you and your crowd dancing all night!
Professional Equipment - Our Experienced Pro DJs will be equipped with our standard DJ Setup. The experienced pro-DJ setup includes two speakers, one sub, microphones, T-bar dance floor lighting, a medium-sized DJ mix board, a laptop, and a full-length facade to cover all DJ equipment.
Smoother Song Transitions - Our Experience Pro DJs have more song edits, remixes, and mashups in their library to help create incredibly smooth, fun, lively transitions between songs. They also have more experience knowing what songs go well together and which don’t.
Solid MC Abilities - Our experienced Pro DJs have a fabulous stage presence and have years of experience creating lively atmospheres utilizing their MC abilities.

Best DJ Equipment - DJ Topedo equips himself with his Premium DJ setup. DJ Topedo's Premium DJ Setup includes two speakers, two subs, microphones, LED pixel tube lighting, 2x Hybrid Intelligent lights, a large DJ mix board, a laptop, and a custom DJ display booth with a 65-inch monitor to showcase the client's names in an animated monogram. In addition to a vibrant custom monogram, couples can display slideshows, dance music visuals, and more! Josh also has the most experience working with and programming all of our add-ons and enhancements, including uplighting, intelligent lighting, cold sparklers, dancing on a cloud, and more!
