About the Owner: Josh (DJ Topedo)
Hey there! I'm Josh Tope, but you might know me better as 'DJ Topedo.' With over a decade of experience, I've helped create unforgettable wedding experiences fueled by endless creativity!
My journey into DJing began in high school when I played music at our church's 'Neon Night' party, where I ignited the dance floor for over 300 students! That experience was life-changing, and I loved bringing energy to a group of people through music and dance!
While studying film and business in college, I continued to hone my DJ skills, turning weekend gigs into a full-blown profession after graduation. Alongside my incredible wife, Leslie, who heads our videography team, we've transformed DJ Topedo & Company into something extraordinary.
From heart-pounding DJ sets to award-winning cinematic videography, photo booths, lighting, and special effects, we've had the honor of serving over a thousand couples, each celebration more magical than the last. For instance, at Mallory & Scott's NYE wedding, we brought in the New Year with jaw-dropping DJ mixing, mesmerizing lighting programming, captivating special effects, and emotional, tear-jerking cinematic videography, leaving the couple and their guests in awe. We're confident we can bring the same excellence to your wedding!

We offer a planning app that is very user-friendly and helpful in making the planning process easy. We'll create an event timeline for you in the app, and then you'll add your memorable moment songs, answer planning questions, and input any requests in the appropriate sections. Our app is very flexible because you can find almost any song using the search function or import YouTube links, Spotify playlists, or Apple Music playlists. There are also curated song recommendations that you can pick from in the app. For example, one featured playlist is DJ Topedo's Top Wedding Hits! Another bonus of the app is that it limits excessive back-and-forth communication. Once you input your songs and answer the planning questions, you can feel confident that we have everything for you to make your wedding successful!

Our music transitions and video edits are seamless and exciting! We ensure the energy is up on the DJ side and keep the party going all night! With videography, we spend hours editing each film to perfection (if we don't cry for the final edit, we keep editing until we feel the emotion from your big day). Pro Tip: DJing and videography come hand in hand, both with audio and visuals. Think about it... Your DJ controls the sound and lighting, and both are crucial in making quality cinematic highlight films.

Josh (DJ Topedo) is known for being an insanely creative wedding professional with over eight years of experience! As the owner of DJ Topedo & Company, Josh enjoys helping couples create incredible memories and providing them the ability to relive those moments through film. While most clients inquire about DJ services, Josh assists with videography (he studied film and business at Towson University). DJ Topedo's favorite music to play at weddings is electronic dance music (he loves and specializes in EDM Weddings); however, he's happy to play ANY music that gets people to DANCE! In addition to DJing and videography, Josh programs lights and special effects to create perfect moments that will become lifelong memories. No matter what is envisioned for the wedding day, Josh has the knowledge, equipment, and expertise to make it happen. Josh (DJ Topedo) wants to work with couples seeking a unique and personalized experience and can ensure that all clients who book him will receive the best experience possible!

Leslie (Josh's wife) takes on the role of a lead videographer at most weddings. With her attention to detail and natural talent for capturing incredible shots, Leslie helps us produce tear-jerking wedding films for our couples. Leslie's presence lights up the room, which allows our clients to feel natural in front of the camera. Some clients have told us every time they watch their cinematic highlight film; it enables them to feel the same feelings they felt on their wedding day, again & again!
Zach
Zach has been pursuing videography with DJ Topedo & Company for three years and loves what he does; videography is his most profound passion. On wedding days, Zach utilizes his extensive videography knowledge to capture breathtaking shots and gives couples a dry sense of humor to keep spirits high throughout the wedding day. In addition to shooting weddings on the weekend, Zach volunteers for the student ministry at his church to create videos during the week. The deep roots of his faith inspire him to always provide the best service possible in all he does.
Mitchell
Mitchell loves cameras and helping others feel the magic of reliving a moment long after it happened. Along with being one of our wedding videographers for the past three years, he has turned his passion into a full-time job! With Mitchell's charming personality, he can help couples feel at ease and naturally capture their special day.
